Every Spring daffodils fill the ancient moats of York – an army of Yellow heads.

Every April my late Father and I would set out to scout the City Walls clad in our weatherproof armour of hat, coat, scarf & brolly.

He in his wheelchair and myself as his escort, we braved the April showers and March winds Happy and hopeful that warmer and sunnier days lay ahead – a triumphant thought!

He died in the icy November of 2010.

But I still see his face every spring amongst the host of Yellow waving heads.
