Here’s another interview with Janet by David Macho and William Thackway Dickinson.

Woolnough House: Janet

What did you do in your spare time?

She worked at a farm; they had a farm at home. She did not have any spare time.

Did you play sport?

Janet played tennis on tennis courts. She wasn’t in a team and she played for fun. She had a TV so she could watch sport on TV and she still does today.

Did you play a musical instrument?

Janet played on the piano. She really liked it and practised a lot.

What did you do with your friends? What games did you play?

She played skipping with her friends. Janet also loved playing board games.

What is your favourite sport?

Janet’s favourite sport is horse racing.

Who is your sporting hero?

Her favourite athlete is a racing car driver. (She forgot his name.)

Were you ever in trouble at school?

Did you know Janet’s teacher found her on the piano and said, ‘’Stop playing on the piano!’’ But Janet said, ‘’Oh no I won’t!’’

What did you watch on TV?

She watched sports and soaps. When she watched sports, she watches football although she hates it and horse racing. She also watches “Coronation Street”.
