Woolnough House: Ada

Posted on 01 October 2012 | Narrative

We came on a visit to Woolnough House to speak to some residents to ask them some questions about their life as a child.

Woolnough House: Ada

We interviewed Ada, one of the new residents. We found out some very unfortunate things about her childhood. When Ada was five, she got meningitis and became an orphan, this meant that she couldn’t go to school. Before this happened, Ada liked to spend time with her mum.

Ada’s favourite game to play was bingo. When we asked her if she liked music, she simply replied no!
